Databases by Vendor

Login to these databases from home using user names and passwords (available in the library upon request).

Free Trials: We have several trials set up for ABC-Clio History Databases! See Librarian for User Name and Password!

 

   Infotrac: Infotrac contains several individual databases with a wide variety of information ranging from general studies (i.e. Expanded Academic Index) to specific topics (i.e. Health Reference Center).  You may search each database individually (see below) or, for a greater number of results, select the “Select All” button at the top of the page after logging in to search all of the Infotrac databases to which Marian Court has access. 

Loislaw: LoisLaw provides criminal justice students with easy access to the full-text of primary laws (searchable by the type of law or the jurisdiction), secondary laws, and public records. 

Proquest: Proquest provides a collection of U.S. and International criminal justice journals including information for professionals in law enforcement, corrections administrations, drug enforcement, rehabilitation, family law, and industrial security. 
 

SIRS: An excellent resource for virtually all term papers, SIRS is designed to meet everyday research needs of both students and faculty.  SIRS provides full-text articles, written by experts and respected journalists, on current events and social issues from over 1500 different periodicals.

RDS Business Suite Includes three databases: Business and Industry, Business & Management Practices, and Table Base. Business and Industry is the place to go when you want to find company, industry, market and product information. Business and Management Practices emphasizes the practical side of management and includes how to guides and case studies. Use Table Base to locate business information in tabular format.
