The Transfer Option

Students equipped with an associate’s degree from Marian Court College have a real choice:  continuing their education or beginning their career.  As interests and goals become clear, many Marian Court College students decide to transfer to a four-year college or university after they graduate.  These students use the high quality education received at Marian Court College as the foundation for pursuing their bachelor’s degree.

Transfer Resources and Advising

Students interested in transferring should speak to the Academic Counselor about their options. To assist you in gathering information on some colleges and universities, Marian Court College hosts a Transfer Student College Fair each fall.

The Director of Academic Counseling is available to meet with any 2^nd year student to discuss transfer questions you may have as you prepare to continue your education. Please contact the Director of Academic Counseling for an appointment.

Transfer Application Timeline

After gathering information about the transfer process, it is important to keep the admission process in mind. We encourage students to do their research and stay organized about which application materials are needed and when everything is due. Applications for Fall admission are typically due in March (perhaps later for some colleges). However, some colleges may have earlier deadlines for housing or special programs.

Articulation Agreements

An articulation agreement outlines which Marian Court College courses will transfer to certain programs at the colleges or universities with whom we have such agreements (assuming certain conditions are met, such as a minimum grade of C or better in MCC classes). If you are interested in transferring to another college or university upon completion of your degree from Marian Court College, please speak with Megan Penyack at Marian Court as well as a transfer advisor at the other college or university.
