Get individual writing help

Marian Court College offers individual writing assistance at the Writing Center (located across from the Counselor's office) Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:30 - 12:30. There are three ways for you to get help...

Have your professor refer you to the Center
Request an appointment at the Center (there is a sign up sheet on the door)
Drop by the Center; if we have time to help you, we will, or we will book you an appointment
 

Be sure to see us at least 2-3 days before your assignment is due and bring your assignment and any drafts or preliminary writing to your first meeting.

Get help on writing from the Purdue Online Writing Lab

Purdue’s OWL has one of the most complete on-line library of handouts on writing, writing techniques and aids for approaching essays and research projects.The OWL received in excess of 128,000,000 visits from people last year utilizing its extensive collection of handouts, PowerPoint presentations, and other resources including podcasts designed for both students and teachers. The 24-hour access to the OWL enables anyone at any time to find answers to questions about writing, improve specific writing skills or get ideas for how to complete your writing assignment.
