Academic Advising
Each student at Marian Court College is assigned an academic advisor who works with the student on an individual basis. The advisor consults on course selection, academic and/or career goals, and academic progress. In addition, the academic dean is available to assist students with academic issues.
Academic Assistance
Marian Court College supports and enhances the academic work of students by providing resources in several disciplines (including writing and mathematics). Faculty work with students on an individual basis and in group sessions to support learning.
In addition, students experiencing difficulties in their courses are never left alone; peer tutors are available to shed light on any subject area. Peer tutors are volunteers, approved by faculty, who assist other students in mastering course content and requirements. The names and the hours of tutors are posted on the bulletin boards at the start of each semester.

Students who need assistance with identifying interests, skills and strengths are given guidance in making the proper decisions, regarding program study or transferring to a four-year college or university.
