A significant part of the mission of Marian Court College is to empower students to become contributing members of society sharing their gifts with mercy and care.
Community service is a large part of this mission. Students are involved in the community to alleviate hunger, to serve the under privileged, to assist the lonely and to pray for each other. In performing these works, the students strive to follow the inspiration of Catherine McAuley, the Irish foundress of the Sisters of Mercy whose vow is to serve the poor, the sick, and the uneducated.

Excellence
Integrity
Justice - "Earth cannot be changed for the better unless the consciousness of the individual is changed."
Respect
Service - "Generosity is not a disposition for worldly gifts, like benevolent people in the world, it is bestowing ourselves most freely, and relying with unhesitating confidence on God." Catherine McAuley
The community service movement at Marian Court is driven by caring and concerned student leaders and strives to meet community needs. The students involved in community service are not only making a difference, locally and globally, but also promoting student leadership in development and implementation of community-based initiatives. Involvement with local agencies such as My Brother’s Table, H.A.W.C., and Catholic Charities help students tackle problems of homelessness, hunger, domestic violence, and unemployment while creating lasting friendships and close contact with the ‘real world’ outside the classroom.
