The Swampscott Arts Association's Summer Show opened with a reception on Thursday evening, July 22 at Marian Court College. The show was juried and prizes were awarded. Long time faculty member Sr. Barbara Willett, and the first President of Marian Court College, Sr. Josette, enjoy a Red Sox game courtesy of Marian Court College board member Shawn Potter. Mr. Potter bid on the tickets at Marian Court's annual fundraiser this past April and then presented them to Sr. Barbara, who is a dedicated Sox fan.
