Students to Visit Federal Reserve Bank of Boston
On Friday, December 9, 35 Marian Court College students from the Macroeconomics and Business Ethics classes will visit the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. This mandatory field trip will introduce students to key topics in the business field. Presenters will discuss topics ranging from the structure and policies of the Federal Reserve System to counterfeit money. “This is a unique opportunity to step inside one of only twelve Federal Reserve banks in the United States to comprehend the importance of the monetary controls that are implemented to stabilize the American and global economy,” said Professor Thompson, Business Administration Chair. “Students should be prepared to take advantage of this learning experience and engage the presenters with questions.”
At Marian Court College, we stress the importance of hands-on, real world exposure to important topics to provide a complete education for our students.
