Marian Court College Supports North Shore Fairy Godmother Project
Marian Court College is supporting the North Shore Fairy Godmother Project for the 5th year.
Marian Court College will be collecting new and "gently worn" formal dresses and accessories from students and members of the community throughout February and March. The College has teamed up again this year with The Northshore Fairy Godmother Project (northshorefairygodmother.org), an organization that collects the items and donates them to financially disadvantaged high school students in Massachusetts so they can attend their high school formal occasions in style.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for our Fashion Merchandising students and the local community to give back,” said Marian Court College Dean of Academic Affairs & Student Services, Dr. Denise Hammon. “Last year we collected over 30 gowns for the program. We hope to exceed that goal this year.”
If you are interested in donating formal wear or accessories, please bring items to Marian Court College, 35 Little’s Point Road, Swampscott, MA, between 8:30am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Items will be collected through March 20th. For more information, contact Michele Ahouse, Vice President of Development and Marketing at 781-309-5279 or mahouse@mariancourt.edu.
